Backup exec restauration mail isolé

Bonjour,

...you wouldn't, but the process of restoring a GRT backup of Exchange from tape would.

You can duplicate your job to disk which takes care of this, but it is simply a manual way of doing it. However, doing it this way means you don't have to run through the process again as the Exchange information will already be on disk. Follow my article below on how to do this:

To perform a GRT restore of an email you need to stage entire backup set, hence it takes long time

and shows large byte count.

Hi Pierre,

It stages to disk if you have GRT backups to tape...if you do GRT backups to disk that gets around the temporary staging.

By default that staging location is C:\Temp, and it needs to have the same amount of free space as your Information Store is big. If not, you need to move this location from: Tools --> Options --> Microsoft Exchange

Thanks!
