Backup fails After 10.0.5484 upgrade

Every other backup fails AFTER we upgraded to 10.0.5484. We have sp1 installed. This did NOT happen with 9.1.

The message we get is

"Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe00084ec - Error reading/writing data from/to the media.
Final error category: Backup Media Errors"

and

"Storage device "HP 1" reported an error on a request to write data to media.
Error reported:
Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
This could be caused by either a dirty tape drive, bad media, or a SCSI problem.
V-79-57344-34028 - Error reading/writing data from/to the media."

We did NOT get this until 10.0. Please help.

Did you try cleaning the tape drive and using new tapes. You will want to run a cleaning tape a few times before trying a new tape. Did you get the latest BE tape drivers from Veritas?

The answer to all your questions is yes. It is very strange that we Never got this with 9.1 and only After we upgrade to 10.0 does this start happening. We have been on 10.0 less than 2 weeks.
