Backup job exception involving DB transaction logs

For some time now I have been getting this message as an exception to the backup job that runs every night:

V-79-40960-37914 - Database Blockgrants is configured to maintain transaction logs.  Transaction log...

What sort of job do I need to run on the databases that will help clear those transaction logs?  I don't see that sort of job listed in the job type.......

Sorry, I'm not a database person, that's why I'm asking the question here.  Thanks for the help :)
