Backup job hangs at 'Loading'

We have two jobs..Full Backup which is scheduled to run once per week and Differential which runs other weekdays. Both use same selection set. Full Backup runs OK. Differential hangs at 'Loading' for hours on end and must be aborted. Differential will run fine if you use the Run Now option. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have similar problem in multiple locations, if I move the tape into the scratch media pool prior to the scheduled start time the job runs fine, if i forget, it hangs at loading media. The tape is showing as 'overwiteable' so that is not the problem.

Differential Job Tapes were previously used by older version of BUE. Full Backup tapes were new. After erasing old media, problem was resolved.
