I have an issue with BE 12.5. I have a daily backup routine running on our NAS server. Every day the backup starts at the set time of 11pm. Job monitor shows that the job is running and everything is working as it should. The tape is ejected and an email is sent to all concerned to say the backup has been completed successfully, however under Job Monitor it is still showing the backup as "running" under the status tab. Right clicking on the job and then properties shows the server as "paused" yet under the devices tab this is not so. I also have to restart the BE services and the server to get the next backup to run on shedule.
Can anyone maybe assist me or explain to me what's cutting here?
Any help would me greatly appreciated as I am a newbie as far as BE is concerned (i have inherited the problem from another administrator)
is it posible that the tape is full / no space left,
so the tape will be ejected and an additional tape is needed?
In this case the job is paused, if you insert an additional tape with free space the job will be continiued (?)
