Hi all,

I haven't experience with Exchange 2013. The following is the escenario: Media Server with BE 2012 is mounted in Windows 2008 R2. Exchange Server 2013 is mounted in Windows 2012. The backup job works and end successful. When we try to make a restore job and I review the contents of the Storage Information backuped I only see logs files (see attached screenshot).

Question: With this information Can I restore all data for my mail Exchange server?

Regards,

Carlos Espinoza

You will have to restore the entire Information Store as there is no GRT(Granular Recovery Technology) associated to Exchange 2013 with Backup Exec 2012. Backup Exec 2014 which would be released shortly would have that feature. Refer to http://www.symantec.com/redirects/backup_exec/2014beta/
