Backup on NAS

Hi guys,

I created a job to make a full backup on Lacie 5g Network NAS.

The job works fine but sometimes the BackupExec put the status of NAS inactive.

How can I create a job to set the status of NAS on line?

Is it possible?

Best regards.

Hi,

You can't. If the network glitches or is slow for instance, BE will most likely do that all the time (or disable it if you run out of disk space on your B2D).

If it had iSCSI (I checked; it doesn't), you could have enabled it and mounted those drives to the media server. This would have got around your issue.

Thanks!
