Hello everyone.
We are running Backup Exec 2010 R3 on a couple of external disc drives, rotated on a daily basis. Each of the drives is around 1.5TB.
We are perfoming a weekly backup of around 250GB with an differential backup of around 80GB a day.
However, the problem we are having is that BExec is not using the full disc to store the backups, It is using around 250GB, overwriting the existing files. I have set the Media set for each job to "Keep for 4 weeks" and append to media.
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this ?
What we want is at least 2 weeks worth of differential backups and 2 full backups per disc, using the entire 1.5TB, rather than it being constantly overwritten.
