I have a customer that has 8 USB Drives, they use 1 on Thursday and 1 on Friday, this gets changed for 4 weeks then rotates.
These USB Drives are off-site full backups and they have a NAS for Daily backups anyway.
The problem I have is using a Disk backup stratagy does not work. when you format the drive it then complains that the drive letter ( E for example) is already in use (USB Week X ( 1 - 4) Thursday or Friday)
In backup exec 2010 we had E: WK(1-4) Thursday or Friday.
How can I get round this other then setting each drive to a different letter?
Ie.
NEW OLD
e: = Week 1 Thursday (Drive 1) "e:\Week 1 Thursday" (Drive 1)
f: = Week 1 Friday (Drive 2) "e:\Week 1 Friday" (Drive 2)
g: = Week 2 Thursday (Drive 3) "e:\Week 2 Thursday" (Drive 3)
h: = Week 2 Friday (Drive 4) "e:\Week 2 Friday" (Drive 4)
