Backup to Tape never ends

I understand, that many of you do not have an experience with this old combination, but maybe I’ll be lucky and will get some help.

I have

-              HP ProLiant BL460c G6 (Windows 2008 R2 and Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3) with Smart Array P700m Mezzanine Card.

-              HP 6Gb SAS BL Switch installed in Interconnect Bay 5 of the HP BladeSystem Enclosure C7000

-              External Seagate Ultrium-HH6 Tape Drive is connected to the Port1 of the Switch

Symantec Backup Exec Job starts to wright  to the Tape and fails after small amount of data written.

HP Array Configuration Utility shows me alert:

“347 The cache for Smart Array P700m in Slot 2 is not configured.”

Might it be a reason for the Backup-to-Tape failure?

Looks to be an issue on the library side? Have you run HP tape tools ? Does it come out clean? You can also run a BE tool called trace and it will just help to narrow down on the error https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100007801.html
