Backup to a dynamic Drive

Hello Everybody,

 

we're backing up our Data to a Dedup-Folder. Because the Dedup-Folders are limited to one per Mediaserver, I only have one Drive to store the Backup Data. Now we bought an Storage Expansion and I want to convert those two Drives in one dynamic Drive.

Is it possible to Backup the Data in Backup Exec 2012 on a dynamic Drive?

Hello Florian,

     There should be no problem is creating Backup to Disk folder on Dynamic disk. This should work fine.

Moreover you can test the same with Backup to Disk TestTool found in the Related Articles section for the following technote
