Hi Guys
On a client I am BE 2010 R3 configured in your environment. They have the license for BE SAP. The SAP uses the database in Oracle, the DBA talking to the same said that the backup should be done using RMAN, I've read a lot of documentation explaining how to set up in BE but it still does not understand very well, perhaps not knowing anything about oracle database. I wonder if someone already implemented and could provide a step by step. One more thing the environment of the database is clustered.
Thank you for your attention.

If it is linux follow
Symantec Backup Exec Installation in Linux
1) Install the Agent from CD rom
tar -zxvf RALUS_RMALS_RAMS-4164.5.tar.gz
./installralus
/etc/init.d/VRTSralus.init start
2) Then config agent for oracle
Through
/opt/VRTSralus
./AgentConfig
Do the config for server, instance
3) Then go in backup server
a) specify the account like root or sys
b) go in tools> options > oracle and add oracle server
c) add oracle server in user defined list

Thanks for your reply,
The oracle server is on Windows, and the backup has to be done using RMAN via brtools, when I run the command to the backup server, I am getting this message:

There are Oracle users, but far and few between. Best you contact Symantec Support, and loop your Oracle DBA into this issue as they'll need to make changes I'm sure on the Oracle side.

The call is opened, the technique is already one month in the case and so far nothing. :(
