BackupExec 11d Remote Agent for Windows on Win2k3 SP1 Exchange 2003 CRASHES

Hi Everyone

I have 2 errors that come up only on my exchange 2003 server, i have installed HOTFIX 2 and HOTFIX 6 on the Backup server, reinstalled the RAWS on the Exchange 2003 server and rebooted, still the Agent crashes. Now this is intermittent, somedays it will not crash other days it will.

Hope this is a simple issue that can be resolved quickly.

After upgrading from 10.1d to 11 on my Exchange 2003 SP2 and Windows 2003 SP1, I am getting an access denied - This is a standalone server not using the remote agent. Also running BE 11 with Hotfix 6.

Hello
Try running a repair Install of the Application and then repush the RAWS.

Put the Remote Agent service in Debug mode and run a job and then check for any error in the Debug Log.. And let us know.

I am having the same problems with an Exchange Server and Windows Server 2003. Has anyone resolved this issue? Which application are you referring to when you say to do a repair install of the application? Thanks!

All I have been told from support is there is a major hotfix for all the exchange issues - but they would not give me a release date.

Currently I'm having the same problem (Faulting application beremote.exe, version 11.0.6235.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x000224b2.) on my Exchange 2003 Svr SP2 running on Win2k3 SP2. I tryed to reinstall the remote agent but the same appened.
What do you suggest to solve this issue?
