we do have the following Problem.
Within a construct between a Quantum Lib with 4x SCSI(!)LTO Drives, one BackupExec2010 Server and a Netapp Filer we want to mount 2 drives fix with the Filer and the other 2 drives fix to the BackupExec Server.
The Server itself holds 5TB of Backup2Disk space and should write Ethernet based Backup to the disk and then to two of the four LTO drives. Furthermore it should manage the NDMP backup from the Filer by using the direct attached drives from the filer.
No drives should be moved between B2D and NDMP backup. The drives are totaly dedicated (like I explained before, 2 for the filer, 2 for the B2D).
Would that be possible or do we have a show-stopper?
