Are you getting any errors in Windows Event Log?
Disable Anti Virus in case it is blocking communications and try again.

Run a repair of .NET and Backup Exec via Control Panel - Programs & features.
Have you added Antivirus exclusions for the Backup Exec directory and processes ?

I ran the repair of .net - the result can only be seen after an restart, so I´ve to wait till this evening.
Antivirus exclusion ist set.
Thank You - I´ll be back this evening

Based on the dump, is the antivirus exlcusion added for C:\ProgramData\Symantec\CRF\ ?
If this directory is already added as an exclusion, pls log a support case for us to investigate this issue further. Alternatively, consider an upgrade to BE 2014 instead.

Antivirus exclusion is added - same effect. Should I repair BackupExec programm first? BTW BackupExec can only deinstalled - there´s no Repair-Button!

There should be a "Repair" option. Try inserting / mounting the DVD and check if the Repair option is available or not.
If the Repair option is still not available, pls log a support case.
