Backupe Exec - VMWare

Hello

Since the transition to SP1a, when I save a VM, the work succeeds but the VM appears as "never saved" in the list of servers ...
Restoration is possible, full VM or GRT

Thanks for the insights

Hi,

Try taking a backup of a small file directly through RAWS on the VM, the way you would usually do backups of a physcial server. This will make the VM appear as backed up in the list of servers if it is not automatically appearing after the VM backup.

Thanks,

It can be ignored and is not a worry. This is the way it would show up in Backup/Restore Tab if the VM was not backed up using RAWS (Traditional Backup). During an AVVI backup we will backup the .vmdk files and make GRT of the VM available. So if you select this VM and click restore, you would be able to restore GRT information that was backed up for the VM.

Thank you,

Everything is OK after a backup RAWS.
