Backups -access denied-

Hello,when we do our system stae backups we get the following error on one of our servers         V-79-57344-33928 -Unable to complete the operation for the selected resource using the specified option. The active directory, Active directory application mode(ADAM) OR active directory Lightweight directory service (AD LDS) database was not found. We are using backup exec 12.5. I researched the error but could not resolve my situation.

We are just backing up the system state of each server. We are in a windows 2003 environment
