Backward compatibilities

Can someone please explain me how far back version 12.5 will read?  what version reads what version?

If you mean, what data will it read, it can read data backed up by Backup Exec 9.1.

hi,
Remote agents of previous versions 9, 10,11,12 will not be compatible with the versions 12.5
But if you would like to restore data from the tapes or medias that were backed up previous versions of Backup exec you will still be able to read them from the current versions of BE.
