I am installing a first time setup of Backup Exec 20.4 and my manager has requested that I check on the implementation of bandwidth throttling in the app. We have been using Acronis, which does have this feature. I have seen some responses regarding this on other versions of the product and none provide enough information for me to bring back to my boss.
Can someone please advise if this is possible? If not, does the product do anything proactively to manage its own bandwidth consumption across a network? Also, if not, does anyone know of a reason why Veritas would not provide this feature?
