Best Practice for Setting up Daily Backups? Backup Exec 2010

Using Symantec Backup Exec 2010

Use a RD1000 drive with a different removeable disk for each day

Want daily backups to run at 10pm M-F on its respective disk.

Would also like backup exec to recycle/reuse the tape the next time it comes around.

Can anyone provide the correct method and setup for doing this?  Like creating 5 different media sets and 5 different schedules or whatever is best.

In your case, with no GFS, 1 backup policy will be fine. Having 1 for each day of the week is going to become a management issue

Create a media set and a job and make sure the Append/OPP settings for the media set are not set to append and are long enough to allow the tape to last for 5 days before being overwritten again.
