Best Practice to backup an HP P4300 SAN

We recently purchased an HP P4300 SAN. I am looking for a best practice on how to backup this device using Backup Exec, is there anyone out there who uses this product?

You may map LUN's to the media server and take backup of the volumes. The volumes should appear

as local volumes to the media server, you will not require additional licenses.

Can you run differental backups this way or would each backup have to be a full?

Yes you can run differential or incremental backups as well.

This is where I get confused.. We run snapshots on our P4300 daily, then mount them on our backup server. If we back this data up daily running a differential it always tries to do a full. How can I run a differential on these snapshots?

Snaps shots are all new data, typically it's always a full.
