Best Way To Backup Exchange 2003 with Known Issues

Dan_Foxley

Rushed to upgrade 10d to 11d to get the CPS functionality. I'm reading here that this is broken. Until this is fixed, what is the "Best" way to backup Exchange 2003 SP2 on a Win2k3 SP1 server?

Thanks,

I strongly recommend you backing up Exchange the same way as you do with 10d (Information Store backups and maybe mailbox backups as well) as GRT does not recycle disk space and CPS has several problems too.

When Symantec releases a service pack, it will be the moment for everyone to put in production the new ways.
