Assuming you mean an error like this?
Storage device "Cloud storage 0001:2" reported an error on a request to write data to media. Error reported: 0x17V-79-57344-34028 - A backup storage read/write error has occurred
If the storage is cloud based, check for network connection problems. Review cloud provider specific documentation to help determine the source of the problem. If the problem still persists, contact the cloud provider for further assistance.
First, of course, be sure you're not losing internet connection. If the connection is good, it may be a bandwidth issue. For limited bandwidth, the connections for the cloud connector can be reduced in Backup Exec 16 FP1. In Settings | Cloud Storage decrease the number of write connections for Azure. Decrease until you get a setting that works consistently. Note that throughput will decrease as the write connections setting is decreased so try to tune for most connections without error.
