Best practices for backing up a domain controller

Hi

Could somebody please advise the best practice for backing up a domain controller or post links to articles regarding this.

Is it best practice to backup daily, weekly, etc.. and do i need to run a full backup everytime.

I am running Veritas BE 20.3 and backing up windows server 2008 R2 standard which is currently our DC

The frequency of backups depends on your requirements so there is no point in asking others, other than your boss.

You need to include the system state in your backup in order to backup AD.  The backup can either be full or incr/diff.
