Recently I've been having a couple problems with Backup Exec and they've got worse in the last week.
Since the full backup failed last friday, stating "0xe00084f3 - The block size being used is incorrect.", no backups have worked at all. I've checked the knowledge base for the above for the error and tried to use the resolution but it hasn't worked. I've tried installing the veritas drivers again, rebooted and ran the inventory and it still says the block size is incorrect. BE still says it's using default block and buffer settings and there's definitely nothing wrong with the scsi length as it's not changed since it was installed.
I'm not sure i did the first resolution completely correct due to not receiving the messages mentioned in the solution.
However, I have not updated the software, there has been no windows updates, nothing changed and then suddenly the Full Backup failed with the above error.
I am completely lost.
