Bootable disaster recovery CD

BE server does not have a CD/R so I had BE's IDR app make a boot image (.ISO file) and save to local hard drive. I then copied image to a workstation with a CD burner and used "make bootable CD option' to burn the CD. When I test the CD I get error message "Missing Operating System". The CD burner software is Sonic v7.0 on a Dell XP machine. Anyone have any suggestions?

You dont need to select the option make bootable Cd option in your writer software . Just select the burn image to disk option from the writer software and burn the ISO image to CD .

I noticed I have a second file on my IDR diretory called *.dr along with the *.ISO file. Should this file be included on the burned CD as well?

You need to copy the ISO image to another computer that has CD writer and burn the CD using 3rd party application.
