CASO and local management.

Helo all,

I want to join an existing backup exec 2012 server to a central administration server. If I choose for my server to be a "Centrally managed Backup Exec server", can I continue to  configure localy a backup job ?

Or have I to manage backup job only with the central administration server ?

I explain: I have 5 backup exec server on 5 different location with local IT team. I want a centralized management server to create backup jobs, but local team still have to create, configure and launch backup job too. Is it possible.

I'm a noob with backup exec.

You're looking for the Replicated option. If you choose to Centralise everything on the CASO, then you can only create jobs from there. The TN below has all the information you need on this:
