CPS Errors - jobs cancelling

I am getting these same errors (different files, different servers) on every job.

The pair on source computer 'SERVER1', destination computer 'BACKUP1' for job 'SERVER1' canceled due to an error. : Internal error: Unable to create file d:\backupdestination1\SERVER1\C\WINNT\$NtUninstallKB890046$ - (NT error The operation completed successfully.).

AND

The pair on source computer 'SERVER1', destination computer 'BACKUP1' for job 'SERVER1' canceled due to an error. : Internal Error: Error Incorrect function. setting compression status on d:\backupdestination1\SERVER1\C\WINNT\$NtUninstallKB890046$

CPS Server is Win 2003 Standard SP1
Servers being backed up are Win 2000 SP4

I have deleted and recreated the backup destination. It is on a 5 TB volume, 64k cluster size.

This is completely frustrating, any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

-Is Anti-virus running on target Server
-Update us on the the different alert messages on the CPS console..
-Any event ids ?
-Make sure that you have Full control to System account on all the volume
which are selected for replication.

Update us on the same and revert for any further Query
