CPS agent wont start - terminates with error 8201 (0x2009)

Hi,

I have a windows 2003 std domain server running backup exec 10d and CPS server. The CPS server has been running for a couple of months but has recently stopped working. The CPS agent service no longer starts, it terminates on startup with the error:

The Backup Exec Continuous Protection Agent service terminated with service-specific error 8201 (0x2009).

I have tried a repair but this error still occurs.

Does anyone have any ideas before I have to completely remove and reinstall it.
