CPS error message when accessing job properties

I am running Backup Exec Continuous Protection Server 2010 on a 64bit 2008 R2 standard server.

When I open a job properties box, I can only see the settings on the General tab. When I try to change anything, or try to see other tabs like Backup Selection, Schedule, Bandwith or Commands, a error messagebox appears.

The box says:"You must have access to the backup destination to continue."


I have full access to the Backup Destination, both in the CPS interface and on file level.


Does anyone know what goes wrong here? This used to work and I haven't change any settings.

Hi, Have you changed service


Have you changed service account crendentials recently? if so then you can change the password using tools=>CPS services=>Services credential (screenshot attached).
