Final - implemented 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader SAS HP StorageWorks Ultrium 3000 LTO5 SAS

with Backup Exec 12.0 infrastructure, last update, and additionaly installed last DDI ( proprietary drivers ), as HP has writted in their documents.

LTO 5 works fine, backups and restore created normaly.

Update to BE 12.5 and above require licensing fee! , but in our case is not needed.

Thank you guys,

I find / see the compatibility guide, and have changed type of robot to be 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader SAS HP StorageWorks Ultrium 3000 LTO5 SAS.

I readed, that will be required to update software with SP1 , and do some other updates to run with him . So from my client , i hope will agree with offer, and will test that decision after some time.

I don;t understand.  How is changing the interface to SAS going to help?  LTO5 is not supported by BE 12.
