Can i install remote agent for windows to BE2010 for trial version.

Hi,

I have licensed BE2010 R2 installed on win 2003 server.

I want to add a new windows agent for having some backup for some weeks for testing purposes.

Can i use some trial version for this purpose. If possible how=???

Hi there,

Yes you can...all you do is a push-install from within BE itself...

Tools --> Install Agents and Media Servers on Other Servers...

You can then put in the name/IP of the server and choose the Remote Agent installation...

With your error above, I'd probably go for a local installation. If you don't know how, follow the link below:
