I have a computer that was infected with virus and spam. Initially, I had Symantec AntiVirus ver.10 installed. Then, a friend put another antivirus software. My computer since then has been under virus attack. Now, I'm slowly cleaning the files away. Currently, according to Symantec's online virus check, there is no virus on my PC. However, the problem is that when I'm trying to install ver. 10.1.5 of Symantec AntiVirus, halfway into the installation, Symantec LiveUpdate is being installed but it crashes saying the files are corrupted. Thus, I'm unable to install the full antivirus software due LiveUpdate not installing. The installing file is new and it's being ran from a CD. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
