Have BE 2010 installed with all current patches from Liveupdate. Running the CAS Option on main server and remote server is managed by the CAS server.
When creating a job, I choose the remote server's device from the list and under "restrict backup of the selection list...." I have the remote server also selected. When saving the job, we get the following error:
"The media server and the destination device specified to run this job do not share any devices. Change the media server or the destination device so that a shared device is available." The device IS located on the selected media server.
As a test, I recreated the job leaving the default device and media server (the local CAS server) but tried unchecking the "Restrict backup to the following media server" option. After saving the job, I went back in and the option was still checked. I tried un checking and saving the job several times, but it keeps coming back checked.
