Hi,
when I try to Backup both databases with Backup Exec 2010, I get the 0xe000848c error. I tried all workarounds of Symantec but I did not help.
In the selection list, both Databases are shown with the alias, the monitoring DB with the real server name. In the credentials check, monitoring is successfull, on the others with the alias it says access denied, which obviously is the problem.
How can I change the way that also for those Directory and Audit Database the real servername is published to BackupExec and not the Alias. Any ideas where it is set up?
I changed already the ODBC connections to the real servername, but in the regenerated EVBackup.xml there is still just the alias.
