Hi,
I'm a Symantec Backup Exec 2012 (Central administration Server - CAS) user.
I have a backup server (CAS) for backup some servers but I always can't backup a server on Sunday (the server is very low traffic on Sunday). I can backup it on Monday.
I always set the ROOT password to the setting for backup the server. But it seems as can't backup the server on Sunday.
The following is the reject reason.
Backup- \\MKKS11IBC01P\[ROOT]

It may be that something is running that is blocking access to the files.
A few things to check:
For errors in Windows Event Logs during the time the backup runs.
Verify that the Backup Exec processes have been excluded from any antivurus scan.
Also that any maintenance isnt running.
Try changing the time the backup runs.
Hope this helps.
