Can't choose another credential for my SQL instances

Hi everyone,

I have a server with Windows Server 2012 that is running SQL server on it. When I create a backup job I cannot use a different credential for the databases.

  • Yes, I have the license "Agent for Applications and Databases"
  • I tried giving the following rights to the local admin
    • dbcreator
    • securityadmin
    • serveradmin
    • sysadmin
  • Since the Owner of the databases is not the local admin it dosen't seem to work

Thank you !

I figured it out by myself, if anyone else has this issue. What I did was I made two jobs

  • one for the Drives..etc...
  • one for the SQL instances

At first I thougth it wasn't working because the test run was failling but when I started a FULL job it worked.
