Can't install the local agent for windows to local system (Backup Exec 2012)

Hi,

I installed a Backup Exec 2012 SP2 to a window server 2008. But I can't install the agent to loacal system.

I have the agent for window license. I run the install agent for windows GUI  but I can't select the "local install", it is dim.

Can you tech me that how to instlal the agent for windows to local system? Thanks!!!

You can't install the remote agent on the Media Server. It comes included in the Media Server installation.

Also, the Media Server licence includes 1 Agent for Windows Licence (AWS), hence no seperate AWS licence is required. You could use the licence you have to backup a remote server.
