Can't restore data from a server after the backup job was deleted

Hello there,

I have deleted two backup jobs which were set to backup data from two different servers. Before I have done it I was able to see/restore any files backed up on them servers in the past. Now all the records have gone and I can't restore anything from them. Any ideas what's gone wrong here??

Supercharged.. 

 

           Deleting the jobs should not have deleted your backup sets. What was the retention on the backups if sets were stored on a disk location if they reached there exp. DLM would have removed them. If to tape if they had exceeded there OPP then they may have been overwritten.
