Can't uninstall BackupExec 2010 R3

RAA
Level 2

Ever since we updated 2010 R3 a couple of days ago we've been running into massive problems. We can't get any of the services to start, even after updating the service account. After trying everything, including multiple solutions on this forum, we've finally decided to just uninstall it and start fresh.

We can't even do that. Amazing. Here's the uninstall log, can someone please help us? We've been unable to use this software and backup any data for going on 4 days now...

Possibly a "manual" uninstall is needed. You would be able to find third-party links on how to manually uninstall BE, however I would suggest following pkh's advice and log a formal support case so that an engineer can assist you further.

You need to log a support case with Veritas and get the engineer to uninstall it for you

I might have done that had I gotten a response, after 5 days we had to attempt a manual uninstall from some other website since every Veritas/Symantec link on Google went to a page no longer found...

Just running into problem after problem. After finally getting it to reinstall LiveUpdate keeps "timing out" in the middle of updates. This software is terrible. Would never recommend.
