Cannot Verify job after canceled backup- Unable to create the Verify items

Hi All!

Two days ago run monthly job on taper, today realizet that it has stuck for 14 hous on Verify status, after 2.5TB were backed up. Also other backup jobs were hung on 0 bytes. So I had to manually kill be processes and restart the services as cancel jobs did not help.

After BE services started, wanted to do manual Verify on the failed job, but  whe I run the verify job, I got error:

"Unable to create the Verify Items"

Tape drive is online.

Any idea how to verify the job?

Thanks, but it does not help. Edited registry and restarted all  BE services.

i think it will not help on tape at these stage. another backup job is hang because you can write one at a time on single tape drive.

make sure you are using a good tape if possible try with new tape media
