Cannot delete backup job created by ploicy

Hi!

I'm running ver. 10.1. and when i changed some settings on my backup policy I needed to delete the old backup jobs created by the policy - that worked nice. But when i tried to create new backup jobs, it only created 1 job ( there should be 5) - now i can't delete the job. The error message is "You cannot manually delete a job that was created by a policy..."

When I rightclick the policy and choose "Delete Jobs Created By Policy" - there are no jobs in the Selection lists:

How do I remove the "stuck" job ?

Hi,

Try repairing backup exec database:

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/265180.htm

Additionally refer this technote:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/274619

- Do you see any Events in the event logs?

Hi!

That didn't work either - so I reinstalled the Server. Luckily I had documented the installation so it vwas kind of easy.

Hi,

This is described in http://support.veritas.com/docs/284077
You will need to call support to get this cleared up so you can again on the policy right click and create new jobs.
As this is a known issue with the products listed in the technote above you will get a free support case for this.
When you call in refer to the technote above.

Best regards,
