Cant see exchange features like Information Store, Mailboxes or public folders

HI All,

When creating a backup job i cant see exchange features like Information Store, Mailboxes or public folders.
I have created a new backup server. i have install Veritas 10.0 Backup Exec with the Exchange agent. I'm using an existing Services account i have used before for backup. I have installed the remote agent on my exchange server, but i'm still unable to select any exchange features. This was fine on my old Backup server

Can anyone help me?

Hi there,

Sounds like you need to add in the Exchange license key for Backup Exec 10.0.
Once you do this, you will be able to see the Exchange Information Store.

Mmm...have you tried to remove it, restart services, and then re-add it?

Yes i have removed it and restarted the services and then re-added it again with no luck. This is very strange

Mmm...any firewall sitting between the servers? Were any changes made? And is the account you're using an administrator account?

I have tried the reg change but again no luck. There is no firewall sitting between the servers. The only difference between this back up server and my old one is that the old server was a stand alone server and the new server is a VM server.
