Capacity check status : Failed

I was running a new backup to test if all is good before running it tonight.  however the results came back as capacity check failed when there is plenty of space on the tape.

Also because we use a retention period on our media sets, if I run a test run this should have no affect on the tape usage for that day is this correct?

Have you associated all your tapes to the media set?

Also because we use a retention period on our media sets, if I run a test run this should have no affect on the tape usage for that day is this correct?

Test run will not affect the  tape usage as its just a test.

What have you selected in the job properties , is it overwrite or append else overwrite if....

Did you associate the tapes with the media set prior to running the test job?

Please associate the tapes with scratch media and allow backup exec to pull and associate the media with the correct media set.
