Hi,
we use Backup Exec 20.3.1188 and Dell Datadomain [DD6300, 6.1.2.20] with deduplication enabled. It so happened that a few backups, including 14TB full backup, disappeared from the recovery menu. So we started cataloging and it has been lasting for 8 days already.
I have a few questions:
- why is it taking too long? how can I reduce cataloging time?
- in properties I see, that nothing is cataloging right now. Why the job has not been completed?
- can I cancel the catalog job manually?
