Catalog tapes from old version?

Do anyone know if it is possible to correctly catalog data from tapes backed up with "Backup Exec 8.5" in "Backup Exec 11D"

Should be no problem.  BackupExec has always used MTF (Microsoft tape Format) to write to tape
