Catalogs only go back 4 months

It appears that my catalogs for my BE 10d installation only go back about 4 months. Is there any way to increase how long these catalogs would remain accessable so I can restore data that is older than 4 months without pulling the catalogs off tape?

Under Tools\Options\Catalog I have the following set:

Use storage media-based catalogs is checked

Truncate catalog files is set to 365

Remove unused catalogs after XX is not checked.

I don't see an option for something like "catalog retention" and the contents of D:\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Catalogs seems to reflect the same 4 month retention that I see in the "Restore selections" window.

If you do not have "remove unused catalogs" checked, the only hting I can think of is that the tapes are being overwritten

if you are sure that is not the case, you probably need to open an incident with Symantec
