I seem to be having some problems cataloging in older backup media in BU Exec 8.6.
Also there seems to be missing several catalogs for daily backups from the past.
Can I search the actual media that I assume the files to be restored are on?
Also, once a Catalog Job is complete where does this info go so as I can restore files from?

You can catalog any tape created by BackupExec

Insert the tape
Inventory
Catalog

The catalogs are stored as *.U01 files in the \Catalogs directory

Understood, however once cataloged it seems as if it does not appear under any of the Restore selections even though it claims to have run Successful.
Why am I not seeing it?
Is there another step once it has completed the Cataloging so it appears in the Restore Selections?
