Why is Symantec dragging its feet when it comes to the support of CentOS?  It is a direct BINARY clone of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.  Anyone in the Linux world knows this except Symantec.  This means, that it is the SAME operating system with the RedHat copyrighted logos and name removed and you don't pay for support that isn't needed.

I'm tired of getting the run around from the support team.  "It's not supported."  This is BS!  RHEL = CENTOS

This is the final nail in the coffin for Backup Exec.  2012 put it in the box, this seals the lid and puts it in the ground.  RIP Backup Exec.

It works just fine.  When calling into support you tell them you have RHEL.  I don't have a problem with it.
