Change Subject Line in BE 2010

What a ridiculously arduous search for an answer - I simply want to change the subject lines in e-mail alerts and all I can find are post about how they took out that functionality in 9.x

Well hello – Last time I checked that was several revisions ago. Was this added back in to 2010?

Just to clarify - I am trying to change the subject line that Backup Exec uses in it's e-mail alerts. These e-mial alerts are generated whencertian system activities occur, such as a successful or failed Backup job completing.
